with Paul DerOhannesian, Attorney/ Sex Crimes Expert & Wayne Outten, Employment Attorney
790 KABC, October 28, 2017
Apparently the total number of women accusing former studio head Harvey Weinstein of sexually assaulting and/or harassing them has surpassed 50. This has prompted New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman to subpoena The Weinstein Company records. This weekend, lawyer and sex crimes expert Paul DerOhannesian will discuss with Alan Gurvey and Kerri Kasem why the fruits of the subpoena may open the door to more civil and criminal cases. Then, the discussion turns to another alleged sexual predator, former Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly. He also found himself embroiled in more sexual misconduct allegations this week, after it was revealed he paid $32 million to settle a lawsuit with Fox analyst Lis Wiehl. Other O’Reilly co-workers like Megyn Kelly have come out as well sharing their unflattering experiences with him, despite having signed non-disclosure agreements with Fox. Why are former employees speaking in public after signing NDAs? Employment lawyer Wayne Outten joins the banter to talk about how these contracts are enforced.
