Kenneth Rowen

Mr. Rowen was the founder of Law Firm of Kenneth H. Rowen. He graduated from the University of Illinois in only two years, then moved back to Los Angeles where he attended law school at the University of Southern California. While in law school, Mr. Rowen was President of the USC Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. After receiving his Juris Doctor degree from USC in 1965, Mr. Rowen worked as a workers’ compensation defense attorney for 18 years, in addition to having a general civil litigation and trial practice. He then undertook representation of those who were injured on their jobs.

Mr. Rowen represented injured workers since 1983. In addition to litigating workers’ compensation cases, Mr. Rowen represented clients in Social Security Disability cases before the administrative law judges of the Social Security Administration, as well as clients pursuing disability retirement cases before such administrative agencies as the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), State Teachers Retirement System (STRS), and Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA).

Mr. Rowen became one of the first attorneys in the State of California to be certified, by the State Bar of California, as a specialist in workers’ compensation law. Mr. Rowen is a past president of the Los Angeles Valley Applicant’s Attorneys Association (LAVAAA) and was on the Board of Governors of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA). Mr. Rowen’s forty plus years of legal experience in the workers’ compensation field made him one of the most well-respected workers’ compensation attorneys in the State of California
