with Kerri Kasem, Elder Rights Advocate and Troy Martin, Attorney
February 22, 2014
Kerri Kasem, the daughter of Casey Kasem, has been on a mission so that she and her sibllings can see her father. Casey Kasem's health has deteriorated from Parkinson’s disease and the Kasem children from a prior marriage have been refused the right to visit him by Jean Kasem, Casey's current wife. No state has any laws to protect the rights of children to visit elderly or ailing parents so the children can assure their parent is receiving adequate care.
