Is there “gender bias” in California’s workers’ compensation system? Are the laws skewed? Do they leave more women than men to fend for themselves when they get injured on the job? Are women protected when they are harassed? This weekend Gurvey’s Law hosts Alan Gurvey and Kerri Kasem will interview Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher about Assembly Bill 570, legislation that she proposed to protect injured women in the workplace. Governor Jerry Brown vetoed it. Later, we'll open up the phone lines to take questions and hear personal stories from listeners who have had injuries on the job, both physical and psychological, including sexual harassment, a la Harvey Weinstein situations
